About BFS

Bigger Faster Stronger has been helping athletes succeed for over a quarter of a century and has enjoyed 28 consecutive years of growth. While working on his doctorate in exercise physiology in 1973, Coach Greg Shepard began compiling ideas he had been working on for years in the field of athletic weight training. These findings were incorporated into a movie called “Bigger Faster Stronger”. Many who saw this movie encouraged Greg to write a book explaining the principles demonstrated in the movie. Bigger Faster Stronger “The Total Program” book was first published in 1975. Since then Dr. Greg Shepard has produced many instructional videos, training manuals, books, magazines and more while doing hundreds of clinics and seminars across the country showing coaches and athletes the proper way to train. Many hundreds of thousands of Dr. Shepard’s books have been sold over the years.

Bigger Faster Stronger, also known as BFS, now has a 70,000 square foot facility for its corporate headquarters with hundreds of quality strength and conditioning products. In addition, BFS also has its own manufacturing facility on over two acres.
